One of my early paintings, a hedgehog who lives in the forest, is made with oil on canvas (size 40×30 cm). To make this picture I used light brush strokes, the style is similar to pointillism, but the “dots” are larger. With great pleasure, I applied soft colors to each other, crossing the shades right on the canvas. I didn’t knead the colors in advance, I just took 5-6 basic colors and whitened more, and along the way I built a hedgehog and its surroundings. I really like the color combinations in this picture, green, blue and beige successfully meet and turn from light lilac, to beige gray, then emerald blue.
