I always liked to make clothes, at first it was paper clothes for paper dolls, and now – sketches and pictures of my favorite clothes or clothes that I would like to see in reality. Fashion design fascinates me, because for us, for people, clothing not only warms or protects from the weather, but also makes it possible to reflect our inner world. I love beautiful and comfortable clothes, my style is diverse. But right now, I love this sweater that I found in the dropbox most of all:
It all started with a sketch, which I usually draw first with a simple pencil, and then draw around with liners (isograph). Before, I immediately drew with an isograph without preparation and sketches, and I can do it well. It even seemed to me that sketching with a pencil is not cool! It is much better to immediately draw the line in ink. But now I realized that this “cool” is complete nonsense, because when sketching with a pencil, I have time to think about the composition, there is time to calmly figure out what I really want to see. As a result, I experience less stress while painting, and the result is brighter.
Most often I use my new isograph 1.0 (this is the largest of the rotring line), the lines come out dense and prominent. For small parts, an isograph with a pen of 0.5 or 0.1 is used (for the smallest details). After the ink or ink dries, I erase the Factis eraser with a simple pencil, in my opinion these erasers are the best, they are soft and crumble weakly, they erase any simple pencil perfectly, they do not overwrite the paper. I am doing a fairly complete lineart, drawing all the details, and already put the color on top of the picture. This time I used Copic markers, a lot of different colors; discovered almost all the warm shades of gray.
